The video below shows the problem before extermination. It's one day after I had sprayed consumer grade insecticide in the room. You can see lots of dead flies. The room is actually filled with flying ones but they were very difficult to see on camera.
The property has since been professionally sprayed by an exterminator and I'm now waiting a few days to see if it's truly gone. Then I can go about contacting guests to see if anyone would still like their reservation honored. I cancelled them all in the event this problem needs more time. But I'd rather get them back if possible.
So you can see I'm not at all trying to "get out of reservations". This was a real problem.
